As a part of them, IIECC research team have continued to conduct pioneering research on air quality solutions for many years and strive to make new contributions to the environmental protection cause of the motherland. At the end of September 2019, the gas phase purification material industrialization technology development project jointly submitted by IIECC and the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to the Chinese Academy of Sciences passed the expert review and was listed as the STS regional key project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2020 to 2021.

Chinese Academy of Sciences STS Key Project
The STS program (Science and Technology Service Network Initiative) was uniformly deployed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and officially launched in March 2014 after full investigation and demonstration by the Science and Technology Promotion and Development Bureau.
STS focuses on five aspects of emerging industry cultivation, pillar industry upgrading, modern agricultural development, natural resources and ecological conservation, urbanization and urban environmental governance, focusing on a number of topics that have a major impact on national economy and regional development, in the Chinese Academy of Sciences and The integration and configuration of science and technology cooperation resources between local governments and industrial enterprises plays a decisive role.
The STS key projects focus on regional advantages and characteristic industries and strategic emerging industries. They aim at the “bovine nose” problem that local party committees and governments pay most attention to and the “card neck” problem that affects people's livelihood. The implementation of STS can further promote the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The land provides strong scientific and technological support for social and economic development.
Gas phase purification material industrialization technology development project passed expert review

This project is to solve the current technical problems in the air purification industry by developing and producing new gas phase purification materials, to fill the gaps in domestic technology, to realize the localization of imported purification materials, and to promote the upstream and downstream related purification fields and manufacturing fields. development of. Relying on the geographical advantage of Xuzhou, it covers the five provinces and cities of Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Henan and Anhui, and then radiates to the whole country. Solve air purification needs for enterprises, industrial and mining enterprises and municipal projects. In addition, compared with traditional activated carbon, the new gas phase purification material not only has the performance advantage, but also can greatly reduce the generation of hazardous waste.
