With the deepening of industrialization and urbanization in China, the consumption of energy resources continues to increase, and the pressure on prevention and control of atmospheric pollution continues to increase. The regional atmospheric environment problems of inhalable particulate matter (PM10), fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and gaseous pollutants such as SO2, NO2 and VOCs are increasingly prominent, which impairs the health of the people and affects social harmony and stability. Only by continuously deepening innovative science and technology, pollution control and pollution prevention according to law can we balance ecology, protect the environment, and adapt to the needs of social development. IIECC is a professional company with this business as its own responsibility.

At present, the removal efficiency and purification ability of domestic air filtration materials for gaseous pollutants are generally lower than international advanced air filtration materials, and high-end gas filtration materials need to rely on imports. This requires us to develop air filtration materials comparable to similar international products to replace international high-end materials.

At the end of 2017, IIECC and the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly established CAS-IIECC Environmental Technology (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. to upgrade the high-efficiency gas-phase filtration materials to solve the common problems in the current air purification industry and to fill the gaps in domestic technology, and to achieve localization of imported purification materials. The IIECC R&D team consists of a research team of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a senior Canadian scientific researchers with decades of industry experience. The team has world leading technologies in gas phase filtration and air purification.

Different from other existing technologies, IIECC Filtration Media has the characteristics of versatility, simplicity, reliability, energy saving and high efficiency. IIECC's gas-phase filtration media technology and sophisticated air filtration system can effectively solve odors and corrosion problems in commercial environments, public institutions, sewage treatment plants and industrial environments, enabling them to withstand harsh industrial environments. In addition, IIECC customizes its solutions to the specific needs of its customers.

At the end of August 2019, IIECC Pilot Production Base was officially completed and put into use in the Quanshan Economic Development Zone in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The production base was approved by the Quanshan District Government of Xuzhou City, with a construction area of about 9,000 square meters and a total investment of 20 million yuan. It took more than a year to complete the construction. IIECC Pilot Production Base will undertake the responsibility of a comprehensive R&D and production base – continuously developing new product formulations, innovating production processes and mass production to meet the growing demand for high-end new purification materials.

The completion of the pilot production base indicates that IIECC will serve China's environmental protection industry with advanced production capacity, and will also promote domestic net net technical capabilities and product upgrades.

A few days ago, the construction of the IIECC (China) Environmental Protection Technology Industrial Park, designed by the international ecological architect Itsuko Hasegawa, has started. The planned environmental technology industry park includes a number of sectors including corporate headquarters, experience center, CMA laboratory and production demonstration area. The completion of the environmental protection technology industrial park will become China's first large-scale environmental protection industry complex integrating air treatment, water treatment, soil remediation and environmental technology product research and development.
