IIECC and the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly developed a new generation of gas phase filtration materials

Recently, IIECC and the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly established CAS-IIECC Environmental Technology (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. to develope a new generation high-efficiency gas phase filtration materials. The successful research and development of this project will solve the current technical problems in the air purification industry, fill the gaps in domestic technology, and gradually realize the localization of imported purification materials.

STRONG ALLIANCE, BENEFITING THE INDUSTRY

In response to the current state of the domestic environment, IIECC has challenged the ever-changing environmental quality problems faced by customers to solve the increasingly stringent air quality regulations. IIECC has designed a variety of pollution control solutions to withstand the most demanding industrial environments, including those containing corrosive gases.

IIECC gas-phase purification media technology and sophisticated air filtration system can effectively solve odor and corrosion problems in commercial environments, public institutions, sewage treatment plants and industrial environments. At the same time, IIECC can quickly inspect a variety of environmental problems that are constantly changing, and the results have been widely used in chemical, electric power, steel, paper, military and other industrial pollution concentration areas and education, tourism and other tertiary industries.

The Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CIAC) was founded in December 1948. The comprehensive chemical research institute with high reputation and influence has become an important force and innovation base for the chemical industry in China.

IIECC and CIAC jointly established CAS-IIECC Environmental Technology (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'CAS-IIECC'), aiming to combine innovative air purification technology with applied research. Provides high performance materials for air purification and gas phase filtration for the entire industry, as well as solutions for the future.

COMPLEMENTARY ADVANTAGES, UPGRADED TECHNOLOGY

Based on the existing international advanced high-efficiency gas phase filtration material technology, IIECC research team led a joint research team with researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences to develop high-efficiency gas-phase filtration materials. The successful research and development of this project will solve the current technical problems in the air purification industry, fill the gaps in domestic technology, and gradually realize the localization of imported purification materials.

CAS-IIECC has already settled in Xuzhou Zhongguancun Information Valley. Its innovation center is the first one in Zhongguancun to be established in a regional city. Under the strong support of the local government, IIECC newly acquired land of about 68 mu in the Quanshan District of Xuzhou City, which was used for the IIECC Environmental Protection Industrial Base. Xuzhou is bordered by the four provinces of Sulu, Henan and Anhui, it is an important transportation hub in the country. It has the strategic location advantage of connecting the east to the west and communicating with the north and south. This will bring great convenience to the future development of IIECC.

The first phase of the project will cost US$24 million, of which approximately 30,000 square meters will be built; the R&D center will be approximately 6,000 square meters; and the warehouse logistics center will be approximately 5,000 square meters.
